2021-22 Preschool & Kindergarten Registration Dates:

  • Feb. 1, 2021 for First Frisco UMC Church Members and FIC Alumni
  • Feb. 2, 2021 All Others
  • Registration will be online this year. Online applications will be available on Feb. 1, 2021

Our preschool is from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm and follows FISD calendar. We accept children ages 15 months (by Sept. 1) – 4 years old for our preschool programs.

Tuition will be prorated for September.

2-Day Programs:Tuesday/Thursday $245 per month

  • Tuesday/Thursday $245 per month
  • Wednesday/Friday (1 & 2-Year-olds only) $245 per month

3-Day Program:

  • Monday/Wednesday/Friday $315 per month

5-Day Program:

  • Monday – Friday $495 per month

Preschool Fees:
Annual Registration Fee: $100 per family
COVID Fee: $25
Annual Supply fee per child: 

  • $100 for 2 days
  • $150 for 3 days
  • $200 for 5 days

All fees are non-refundable and due upon acceptance

Need more hours than Friends in Christ Preschool offers? Have a day when there just are not enough hours in a day? Let us help.  We are current FIC staff offering extended care for those in need.  We will offer fun games, activities & snacks.

Tuition is $535/month
$100 Registration fee per child
$200 Annual Supply fee per child

Preschool Curriculum

Learning based on each child’s needs.

We provide teachers with curriculum guidelines to appropriately teach each age level.  The development of young children is a continuous process.  Children develop at different rates: therefore, their ability to perform will vary with each task.  Each child is viewed as an individual.  Our curriculum is carefully organized to provide different levels of development for each child.

We are a Christian preschool and kindergarten; therefore we are committed to teaching Christian principles in the classroom through example, prayer, Bible stories, songs and weekly Chapel.

One’s Curriculum

One year olds enjoy a curriculum emphasizing socialization, motor skills, finger plays and songs.  Children attend music, Chapel and creative movement once a week.  Our teachers are both loving and nurturing in order to make that first separation from loved ones as easy as possible.

Two’s Curriculum

The two year olds enjoy a curriculum that is thematically based where a central theme integrates art, story time and role-playing.  Children attend music, Chapel and creative movement once a week.

Three’s Curriculum

The three year olds use a thematically based curriculum that incorporates phonics, basic math skills, science and art.  Children attend music, creative movement, Chapel and Spanish once a week.

Pre-Kindergarten Curriculum

Our pre-kindergarten program follows the TEKS set required by the state of Texas for Pre-K. The curriculum focuses on letter sounds, recognition and identifying high frequency words. We use the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum. Teachers also use stories, songs, art, hands-on projects and beginning written work to prepare students for the demands of Kindergarten. Children attend music, creative movement, Chapel and computer lab once a week along with Spanish twice a week.
